As you can see from the other information on this site, I have had a long and diverse career in the non-profit world. I am always looking for interesting projects that will allow me to support the work of organizations focused on education, community services, and/or the arts.

Five years ago, I started my consulting business so that I could work with a variety of organizations and use my skills as a writer and as a group facilitator to help my clients with the important work they do. I am available to help you or your organization with anything from web content and design, to grant proposal and report writing, to facilitating brainstorming sessions, and more.

I can be an asset to an organization looking to bring a fresh perspective to a project, a surge of energy to their current efforts, or refined skills to a detailed task. My passion for education, youth, children, and families leads to quick alliances with organization staff and an ability to quickly understand and effectively communicate a shared vision.

While I am always ready to take on new types of projects and challenges, the following is a brief list of services I typically offer:

• Writing and editing - everything from mission statements to newsletters to complete books

• Web content and/or design

• Workshop and group facilitation - including strategic planning

• Grant proposal and report guidance and writing

• Research - including field studies

• Youth outreach, group development, and group facilitation

• Curriculum development and implementation

I am also interested in providing support to students writing college and graduate school application essays. I currently work as a consultant to a company that provides this service to Chinese and Taiwanese students looking to study in English-speaking colleges.

I live in Providence, Rhode Island but am available for projects throughout Southern New England as well as via telecommuting.
