For the past twenty years, I have been working and volunteering in the non-profit and education fields fueled by my passions for youth and learning. I have the heart of an educator, the skills of an award-winning writer, and the training of a community organizer and group facilitator.
I am currently seeking a position in education working directly with students and/or with the entire school community. I have particular skills in supporting first year engagement and college success. I am also always interested in helping to develop students' civic involvement and commitment through service learning programming. I would also be interested in working with a non-profit organization in a capacity that best utilizes my skills, experience and passions.
Please contact me if you have or know of a full or part-time position that may match
my skills and background.
I am also interested in talking with any local or national non-profit organization about working together to develop a book on their history and people. I did this for the FIRST robotics organization (see publications) and it was a wonderful experience.
Be sure to see my Testimonials page for some of the feedback I've been getting from students and colleagues.
